I Turned My Medium/Blog Articles Into a Book

Learn to learn code faster, using techniques honed by years of study, neatly packaged into one book: How to Learn Code

This is not a book on Computer Science. It is about learning code.

Like, how do you actually learn a code source?

As in, how do you get better at learning code sources?

It is a type of learning to learn or a meta learning.

I have read a lot of programming books in the past and almost never see this type of writing in their books. So I wrote it!

I wrote around 52 articles on learning code and posted them on Medium and my WordPress blog.

I reformatted them heavily for book format and finally published them!

It took about 4 months of blog writing and finally the book came into fruition.

Here it is: https://a.co/d/1ccElB4

From the beginning I intended to turn the articles into a book.

The idea was to make some passive income from my writing and have some type of product to sell.

I turned each article on learning code into a chapter and organized it by the stages of the developer.

That journey is put in chronological order by section and chapter.

How to get the book

The cheapest way to get the book is by Amazon Kindle. It is $2.99 to buy on Kindle and free with Kindle Unlimited.

Paperback is also available but geez it takes a lot of money to print the book.

According to Amazons self-publishing platform my book costs $13 to print and Amazon takes 60% of profit on top.

I wanted $5 per book so I had to price it at $21.99.

Sorry its so high but that is just Amazon right now.

The average book nowadays has gotten pretty pricey.

Alrighty, happy coding!
